AN EXTRAORDINARY WAY OF TEACHING.. VOKI
Voki is a free educational tool that allows kids and teachers to create their own talking characters. Users can customize characters to resemble living people, historical figures, cartoons and animals. Changing characters' look is the funniest thing about this application. You can change many details such as background, costume, or even accent of your avatar. Over and above, these avatars which you created can speak! You can reacord your own voice or use the voices on application.
If I were a teacher in primary school I would defenitely use this educational tool. It would be the most interesting way to teach junior students historical characters. I would create my own avatars and listen their presentations and check their pronunciations. Apart from lessons, I'd let students to be creative. They can create any avatar they want such as an actress that they in love, or a super-hero etc. The point on this application is using this with a funny style. Thanks to vioce recording feature. studenets not only practise and learn new words but also improve their speaking skills.
