WHAT IS SOCRATIVE?
Socrative is a formative assessment tool that helps teachers and students to assess learning and progress.
It is an interactive web-based students-respond system. This application is also available through iOS, Android, or Chrome apps. It is so simple that teachers can login this app through thier device and select an acivity which controls flow of questions and games. Students can simply login with their devices and interact real time with the content.
I highly recommend this educational tool because it is interactive and engaging. Also, it provides immediate feedback via formative assesments.
Teachers are able to create multiple choice, true/false or short-answer question quizzes that they can save and use later. There is another key feature which is 'space race'. Students complete a quiz, but this time they compete against each other to get a spaceship from one side of the screen to the other.
